About the Organization

The West Virginia Roundtable is an independent, non-profit and non-partisan organization.

To achieve its mission, the Roundtable provides leadership through:

• Policy initiatives that identify significant public policy challenges and lead toward solutions that effect positive change;
• Research that provides data, information and analysis about relevant issues;
• Communication and forums that encourage the open and creative exchange of ideas impacting public policy issues;
• Networking that builds and maintains relationships among its members, the business community, policy-makers, various interest groups and all West Virginians; and
• Advocacy that promotes the organization's agenda to a broad range of stakeholders and the general public.

In conducting its business, the Roundtable will be:

• Non-partisan;
• Ethical;
• Devoted to representing the state's best interest over any member's self-interest;
• Knowledge-based in research, analysis and professional experience;
• Open to diversity of thought and collaborations;
• Innovative and flexible;
• Results-oriented; and
